I recall from playing in classic that the Ratchet Flightmaster, Bragok, was not implemented until later on.

I found found that this flightmaster was not added until after Naxxramas was released (patch 1.11.1)

Are you also going to complain that Light's Hope Chapel shouldn't have a mailbox or an innkeeper? Those were added in 1.11.1 patch as well. Or that the flight point in Un'Goro should be removed?

Wasn't trying to complain. In fact, I was trying to point something out to the developers that they may not have realized or overlooked.

You do realise that EVERY npc says Added in Patch 1.11.1 right? Thottbot / wowhead etc etc was not made until that patch.

Or are you claiming that for example C'Thun was not added until patch 1.11.1?

Wrong, thottbot was already there earlier. Just look up some archives. Everything else is true tho.

Guess you're right, Who.is claims the name was registered on March 31, 2001. Either way, like you said, the rest of the info is correct.

The OP is correct in the sense that patch 1.11 did add new flight masters, including the one in Ratchet and they also made changes to the flight paths. You can check the patch notes at WoW wiki. Removing them would make sense only if the server was intended to remain at 1.4 or 1.8 or 1.10 patch but since the aim is to eventually become a 1.12.1 server in all aspects, the workload versus reward ratio is not good. After all, we are using 1.12.1 talents, for example.

This pretty much, the amount of work required to remove a flight master is just too large. It's not as simple as removing the NPC unfortunately.
