Is there a way to implement the old wall jump?

Wall jump, as I remember it during retail vanilla and BC (before it was patched), does not work on any vanilla server I've tried.

I definitely understand not having it for BG purposes as it may be viewed as cheating, but that's not what I want.

Wall jumping and wall walking made for a lot of fun times in Azeroth, especially when exploring the world!
Is there a way to implement it, like it was, everywhere but in BG?

To me it is a missing link in the so called "Blizzlike"-servers!

Yeah walljumping feels weird, doesn't it? I'm pretty sure it still works though, it just seems...harder?

Anyway, my gut tells me this won't be an easy fix and it will surely land at the bottom of the "to do list", as it probably should.

I've still managed to get to most of the classic locations, just gotta do it a bit differently sometimes

Yeah! It works sometimes but only like one step. Remember when you could jump up almost vertical walls, many jumps directly after each other? That was so fun!

So does mine, unfortunately, but one can wish!

Yeah, you can still do it, but it takes forever and alternative routes. Miss those old almost vertical jumps!

While fun, I'm pretty sure this is a clientside thing. Walljumping simply didn't exist in 1.12.

I believe it existed pre-1.9 and then came back for a while in 2.1 (?) until ultimately nerfed again.

I remember walljumping myself into Hyjal through Darkwhisper Gorge. Good times.

This might be true, sadly. I wish there were some private servers that were somewhere between 1.12 and where the BC servers are. Know any?
