Save function for DC's

Is it possible to get a .save function to minimize the chance of losing items through disconnects?

This has been brought up before. The debate concerns server load and whether such a feature used by a large number of players saving frequently will stress the server more so than it already presently is.

Log out after important events/drops. Your stuff will be saved.
