Request to Limit Signature Space

Yo Forum Mods,

Is it possible to apply further image height limits/# of lines limits on signatures? Feels like I'm scrolling through an ad-filled page to read the content users are posting sometimes - especially if the user with the large pic/gif replies in the same page.

Also, is it possible to increase posts per page from 10 to 15?

I 100% agree with this.

I also have 2 other suggestions regarding the forum:

1. I think it would be nice to give a "default" profile avatar for all users that they can change if / when they want.

2. Adjust the color variance between posts to a more stark contrast. Right now on both my work and home computers (and phone) the darkness is so similar that it's not simple to differentiate one poster from the next. A good color-break (or just a lighter / darker balance) would not go amiss.

I already suggested this in the past.

I resolved hiding all the signatures (although that's not the best thing to do...I reckon).
You can do it from your forum account setting.

As some points I wanted to show how this can become a real problem, but I didn't do it.
Simply add 5/6 200pixel images to your signature and transform the forum in a "stupid" place.

I also believe that noone, other than "staff", should be able to use "colors" in their posts.

Seriously, I love the LFG Comic, but when he posted this originally the only 2 forum sigs I could think of were yours and the dude with Steven Segal.

Don't get me wrong, I want you to be able to express yourself, but the sigs are a bit much in my opinion.

Also (and this is completely an aside), I could do with less of the hostility (not from you, LockKing) from some of the ~20 y/olds with bad grammar, weed dependency, and mommy issues. Let's try and keep this place a fun experience for the community, as well as promote a well-informed and welcoming environment for everyone.

They have a 200px high limit for images used. That might sound like a lot but it's actually very limiting. ON TOP OF THAT, there's an unmentioned cut-off limit of 500ish px where your sig will actually be cropped to fit the space. Mine is 100px below that limit.

NOW add in the original image which had to be shrunk to a point where it fit both limiters and still be big enough to read what Richard's saying.
