Three weeks ago I aquired the ancient petrified leaf, and since then I only managed to kill two demons.
Why is that you ask?
I had fought each demon over 4 times per, and everytime it was either despawned by people on purpose (A rogue called Respect who just came out of stealth and autoattacked it and then vanished), or the spawn point became a pvp battleground because people decided that its a good idea to pvp at the demon spawn point, then the demon despawns, etc.
Thing is, the normal reset timer is 3 hours.
The despawn timer is 7 hours.
There are around 60++ hunters on that quest atm.
Its just impossible
So a list was made! YES! NOW PEOPLE WILL RESPECT IT! JK, not the case.
Hunters who have no idea how the quest works or just dont give a flying fuck about the list just despawn the demon on purpose.
PLEASE SHORTEN THE RESPAWN TIMER.
Back @ 2005, probably around 1 hunter per week when people started raiding got the leaf, maximum 3 hunters.
Server population was also EXTREMELY lower than Nostalrius' population.
IN ADDITION to that, people actually know how to play and there are countless guilds who clear MC weekly, and not like back in vanilla when the max was ~10 per server.
This causes a HUGE amount of numbers to camp the demons and its really impossible to get this quest done.
Reducing the spawn timer to ~30 minutes or so, would get rid of the ENORMOUS line on the list, and that would clear out a great amount of numbers from the hold, like seriously im not joking people are waiting for countless days to get a chance only to have the demon despawned by some idiots.
PLEASE take this seriously, im not asking to nerf the demons, they are insanely easy, the hardest part is just not getting it despawned by idiots, then having to wait 7 hours, you basically get 1 chance a day MAYBE if you're at the top of the list, but you cant even reach that since people are despawning the demons and hunters arent finishing their quests.
DONT NERF THE DEMONS, NERF THE SPAWN RATES.
