Stupid idea.

Have you ever looked at a dollar bill? (Or Euro note or colorful string of beads or whatever you use as currency in your area) It should say something like "this note is legal tender for all debts, public and private" in small print somewhere. Meaning, that note can be exchanged for any good or service which is legal to sell, by anyone. Gold is the in-game equivalent of that. Neither Blizzard nor the Nost team has never had a problem with people selling in-game services for in-game currency. It's no different in my view than mages selling food, warlocks selling summons, enchanters charging tips...
Those guilds are offering a service that people are willing to pay for. Good for them. If you don't like it, don't run with them.
