since this is a suggestion-thread i just wanted to leave mine here.
My idea is pretty simple, the implementation rather be crazy i guess.
First of all i pretty much love vanilla, i enjoy all the "old" stuff in here BUT i'm mostly a pvp player. Everyone knows that good players always will be recognized, but still classic pvp mostly is about /played. I guess every successfully pvp player probably will agree with me when i say, there are at least some features which came up in later expansion which increased pvp alot.
I just wanted to leave the idea here to implement something like rated arena, maybe just 2v2 and 3v3, which dosen't give the players any "real" benefit. It should just be for fun purpose only.

What is the reward of arena's?
- no set
- no hk's
I would say nothing. Maybe after a few weeks there should be something like a reset of all teams to 0 and the highest team gets a title for that "new season". Since there is another reset they will lose it if they are not #1 anymore.

- flask's
- pot's
- all professions stuff
- cd's above 5 mins
This stuff just needs to be unusable.

Wouldn't arena kill world pvp/bgs?
No, i guess since there is no reward for arena's the players still need to farm honor in bgs/world pvp for there ranks.
I'm rather sure it would increase the pvp on the realm, since rankers are tired of farming honor all week. They could take one week off and still do some pvp fun than sitting all day in the same bgs.
I know of other realms, some players did r13 - r14 and never touched pvp again, most of them became inactive. For those players there is arena a good way to stay active in pvp - meet new pvp players and get addicted to pvp once again even after a high rank.

Maybe if this gets any approval and we could get this rolling. That would be the world i wanted to live in
a classic wow server with arena.
And for all those "dude, it's called blizzlike realm, how is this vanilla blizzlike idiet?" or "omg fegget go play fucking tbc".
For real, if there is one more npc at the pvp dudes, where you "could" (you dont have to do it) queue for arena's, how does that can even bother you?
I mean there is no reward for doing arena's it's just for fun and to mess with other teams, how could this bother anyone?
Okay this is my Idea, i guess a lot of players will agree with me and on the other hand i probably will get blamed for this post.
I still would love to read your thoughts about this.
