this.

I haven't been able to hit time before rez yet, even after some "camping" (3 times in a row), so saying you have minutes after dying twice, lmao :D
Or maybe he meant 22nd instead of 2nd, in which case I'd advise "l2p"

Don't remove that feature, otherwise "smartass" players will start to farm their alts for easy honor gain. And it's good that after ressurecton by spirit healer player get ressurection weakness (that's not allowing to gain honor from him during 10 minutes). That's blizzlike!

Of course one way of alt-farming is still remaining, but current state at least makes it harder to do.

I have a very lucid recollection of how this feature worked on original vanilla, having researched it extensively during our retail Azuregos world pvp on our server - it took at least 2-3 death, even in a quick succession, and with the graveyard <1min away, for the player to first get a revive timer.

On Mangos servers this is not the case - the first death already puts you at 30sec revive timer, most times you never notice it tho, as the usual corpserun takes more than 30sec. It goes up from there, quite steeply.

My suspicion is that Mangos script probably has the revive timer increase in time scripted correctly, but it doesn't have the 2-3 deaths grace period before the first revive timer appears. Moreover, I have not done any tests on how the revive timer diminishes - it could be that this part of the equation is also contributing to the un-blizzlike experience.

tl;dr - I am 99% certain the revive timer is not working blizzlike, however the feature doesn't bother me particularly much.

I only reached 2 mins after a 1hour pvp session just at the hunters camp... It might be slightly too fast, but doesn't seem abusive to me.

Hey everyone!

We'd be glad to look into the 'official' state of respawn timers if someone could give us a link to show information saying how vanilla timers are supposed to work.

However, until someone does,
