If you really talk about the queue announcer in yellow text, it's only in mangos and was never a part of a retail server. You can disable it as a developer

Not really, most people wont consider low lvl Bgs up and just race to 60 and wont be arsed to check queue at battlemaster.

If u want to delete it, just delete it for 60s not for low lvls. So might might actually be notified to quit questing and grinding and doing some pvp

Yes, it should be possible to disable announcer (it's annoying and it isn't Blizzlike). But ofcourse, some people might like it, so best for both sides would be to give us a command on which you disable or enable BG announcers. And I know for a fact that this is possible on MaNGOS.
