Before someone says it: yes, I understand retail allowed you to choose between RP, PvP, PvE, and RP-PvP while you have no choice here. If you create an optional PvP toggle inside neutral/enemy zones, you changed the type of server from PvP to PvE-(optional)PvP.

I think the situation is quite out of hand and limits people to doing instances only at 50+ (which I would do and have always done anyway at this point so it doesn't bother me) and I don't really know a good solution for this problem anyway. The admins want this blizzlike, and solutions would make it nonblizzlike.
Maybe AV would help, but I think it wouldn't. Horde can't get in there except after prolonged waiting, and they can only go kill leveling 48 level players which give them quite OK honor and absolutely no risk of dying, even if you face 5 of them at once, since their spells are always resisted.
The only thing I can easily think of that the admins can and should do is to turn off the hit penalty for PvP combat like it was in retail Vanilla (+1% resist per level, not 11% for orange and above targets like here). The current situation is not blizzlike and it sucks for the levelers and it sucks for this server.

Honestly, if people are not running instances after passing the max level (to receive experience) in Uldaman, then people can easily kill these players for not having at least half decent gear for their level. After level 40, people have to understand that you must be geared because the max level isn't 40 or 50 levels away anymore and talents+gear now fully affect your gameplay. You're right about the solutions, too. People complaining don't realize the catch 22 when any attempt to add, remove, or modify something that is working as intended/expected will receive "not blizzlike" replies. Someone from the staff stated that the server isn't completely blizzlike, but their intention is to make the server as blizzlike as possible.
If you think about it, AV would only help for a certain amount of time. I think we can all agree that everyone will jump on the next piece of content upon release, but it'll last up to a few hours/days before we see the same complaints pour into the forums... again.
Like you stated, it's not blizzlike and your suggestion will be denied with people flooding the thread with "not blizzlike". Also, that leaves room for twinks to kill level 60's. Just imagine a realm with twinks gathering up on 60's instead of ganking Redridge or Stonetalon Mountains. Horrifying to picture the economy too.
