I for one like it if only for the roleplay assistance Transmog gave us. Plus some of the later weapons and armor looked silly IMO (*stares at Plagueheart*). While its nice to see people in their leveling gear, it's better to stop seeing people all wearing the same stuff when you get to raiding (oh the monotony..)

It is not in ANY WAY SHAPE OR FORM Blizzlike Vanilla.

Also the fact that you wouldn't be able to tell if a player is in full rank 14 gear or in d1 gear is just stupid.

There's a simple solution. You click them, click their portrait, and click "Inspect". Look, it even lets you mouse over the gear to see what they have equipped! Wow, we've come really far in technology haven't we? I remember not even being able to inspect in Ultima Online.

if you wanna look pretty just DL a model editor that does what Tmorph does in retail.

Problem is that from what I've searched, no such thing exists for Vanilla. And it would change the models PERIOD instead of the ones on you. So changing t2 models would change how it looks on all characters instead of yours.

Yeah, you can't be a special snowflake in vanilla. Too bad, amirite? Seriously, transmog in a game where your only way of telling apart an overgeared war machine from a freshly dinged newbie is to look at him and see what gear he's using (keep in mind that HP showing addons won't work here) is the most retarded idea.
