Slippery slope, here. Leave the respec cost alone.

This might be no news for you already, but I feel inclined to tap this theme one more time.

How do you think, why in the world are those increasing costs for respec came for?

Before you ponder on the situation abd try to gather things into a pile of somewhat formidable opinion let me throw in few cents of mine.

First of all is the reason we all have such a diversity of talents is the option to choose those you consider to be most effective for your playstyle. Second, and most important from my pov, is that by choosing some of those talents you also learn to either rely on those and enhance your playstyle or reinvent something entirely new for your class (I know, it's hard after 10 years of play). Third is pretty simple if you think of it. Every choice leads to consequences. In the case of choosing wrong talents or if you find them inapropriate to your needs, well, you're free to change those for the cost.

All of this reminds parental control, like you want a candy - sure, but eat your porrige first. This however leads to a system where you can actually benefit from it. How is another question and theme.

Regarding your plea for creating a poll... Well, there are tones of free polls out there you could freely create to bolster your suggestion yet I see you either lack research capabilities or desire strong enough to add up to your wish making a poll. Perhaps it'd be usefull to make one yourself and throw in a link, so people could see if it's interesting for others or not, yesno?

No. Think for once, before dedicating to your choices. Hard, I know, but totally doable.

Respec costs are one of the few things that help keep the economy healthy.

MMO economies require gold to be periodically destroyed so that runaway inflation doesn't occur.

Can't remove a huge gold sink like respec costs without placing one somewhere else.

Wow! Never thought about that, but you are absolutely right! The gold's gotta go somewhere, be it repair bills, respect bills, mounts, cost of skill training, etc. Or else everyone would have enough gold to buy an epic flyer before the devs would make a BC server.

If this server added everything a qq post like this suggests we would have transmog, "casual" difficulty raids and dungeons, dungeon finder, and probably a feral dps toping meters in raids.

Blizzard made this mistake already, and now look at the playerbase...

whats wrong with transmog? no change in gameplay.
u will just have your toon look like you want.
i would pay for this.
