Are you that fucking rude in your day-to-day life, or just as an anonymous fuck on the Internet?

I'm sorry that you think that knocking out and raping a girl is funny. That makes you part of rape culture. The nest time you hear a joke like that, imagine that it's your mother or sister being sapped and unable to say no\. If you still think it's funny then you need some serious therapy.

It's a joke. In a video game. About virtual people. Using abilities that don't exist.
Chill the fuck out.
I hate you and your ilk. You could shake your head and move on. It's okay not to like something. It's okay not to like someone's humor. What's not okay is trying to force your way of thinking on everyone else. Just because you can't differ from virtuality and reality doesn't mean nobody else can.
I could go into a long rant but let's just say I disapprove of people aged 15 or older watching cartoons about magic ponies and I'm positive there's at least one guild catering to fans of that show, and I'm gonna do my best to avoid any and all of them because I think they're not worth my time.
I'm not making a forum post about how I think they should all be gone and locked away though. And do you know why? Because whatever they're talking or laughing about takes place in a location or in a chat that I can conveniently keep away from with no effort on my part and none of them actually show up near my city having intimate relationships with horses. Even they realize it's not real. Why can't you?

I'm a huge fucking asshole in real life, but I can't tell if you're being serious or not because that is inadvertently one of the funniest things someone's told me.

I think the real issue here is the quality of the joke. Things are generally funny because they go somewhere that you didn't expect or involve some kind of contradiction.

At some point in every ones life they decide to test boundaries by saying something inappropriate. The first time it happens is usually when they are fairly young and nobody is expecting it. So mommy, or daddy, laughs their ass off cause holy shit, little timmy just said "fuck bitches, get money".

Now little timmy starts to learn that saying something inappropriate is funny, so he tries it at school and everyone laughs and life is good.

Unfortunately for timmy it doesn't last. Eventually everyone stops laughing at his inappropriate comments. Timmy is confused by this but doesn't understand that maybe his 'jokes' just suck. The sad truth is that timmy is an autist, a sperg or he just happens to have severely lower-than-average intelligence. Everyone else has grown up and moved on. They prefers more intelligent jokes, the basic humor of inappropriate comments has become stale and boring.

Thankfully for timmy, the internet exists and he is able to find large groups of fellow autists, spergs and just generally stupid people who find his creatively lacking base humor absolutely hillarious. Unfortunately for the rest of us, we are stuck using an internet that is constantly sperged all over by these idiots that still haven't gotten bored of using inappropriate phrases as their only comedic device.

With that in mind, I give <Sapped Girls Can't Say No> at 3/10. It's the same boring and over-used rape joke that only edgy teens find funny. The only thing saving it from a lower score is the attempt to be creative by incorporating a wow reference.

It's the kind of thing you might laugh at once when you first hear it, but it get's old very fast.

Is this weak ass 'joke' worth perpetuating a phrase that promotes rape? I don't think so.

There are times when it might be worth standing by a joke that you feel is clever and humorous enough to warrant standing by it and defending it. A joke that uses a rape reference as a small part of a greater whole and clearly in jest. In that kind of situation I won't fault someone for defending the joke, even if I disagree with the content. This is not one of those times. This joke is simply not good enough to justify anything.

Just about anything in life can be offensive to anyone, and some things may be funny to some people while may offend others. For example, I could be fucking assblasted that you implied that all people with autism are cunts or that you are superior to "stupid people". Whoops, used "cunts" in a negative fashion, and that promotes the patriarchal culture where women are more wicked than men, should've used a gender neutral word there.

If Timmy wants to wear the tag "NAGA STOLE MY BIKE" you think I'm gonna chimp out? I'm just not going to do business with him, or invite him to my group. If anything it should make it easier for you and others who are offended by words flashing across your screen to avoid any deeper interactions with these types of people. It's an easy litmus test that'd be taken away from you if Timmy was forced to join a guild called maybe, "The Crusaders". Oh wait, that's offensive to muslims. Maybe he's in Massivus Backhandeth, oh wait, offensive to survivors of spousal abuse. Ridin Dirty? No, that promotes the idea that all black men are thugs and are carrying. Dreamstate? Nah, you could offend those that know someone in a coma. Blacklisted? Why can't they be WHITELISTED? Why is black a negative adjective? Or hey, maybe he's in "Stonewall Champions", the openly LGBTTQQIAAP guild. Oh shit, that's offensive to just about any Christian/Muslim.

For what it's worth, Sapped Girls Can't Say No doesn't "promote rape". I doubt anyone is gonna log off Nostalrius, hit up the bar and while they're deciding what order of shitty ass vodka they'll have look over at the person across the bar and say "Should I rape that person tonight? Eh, well I did see Sapped Girls Can't Say No on an emulated private wow server. I'll go for it".

Rapists are rapists, thugs are thugs, and thin skinned people will never get my respect in the real world. Censorship won't change that.

Oh, where do I begin with you people?

As a joke it's not very funny. It also is a rape joke which, in general, are only funny if the person telling the joke is the target of the joke. This isn't the case here, so it can be very offensive to people.

I hate you and your ilk. You could shake your head and move on. It's okay not to like something. It's okay not to like someone's humor. What's not okay is trying to force your way of thinking on everyone else. Just because you can't differ from virtuality and reality doesn't mean nobody else can.

That's funny, because I hate your ilk. You say offensive, hurtful, or disgusting shit and then act all surprised when someone is hurt by it. You start crowing about the First Amendment, free speech, and start labeling anyone who disagrees with you a SJW. The truth of the matter is that while you can say whatever you want, you DON'T get to skirt by with no consequences. So if you make an offensive joke, don't act all butthurt when people are offended by it.

And as far as I know, "Virtuality" is a shitty TV movie and not a real word.

Even they realize it's not real. Why can't you?

Rape culture is real. Rape jokes perpetuate rape culture. Bros laugh at a joke about incapacitating and raping women and there's a tiny part of their mind thinking, "It's funny because girls shouldn't be able to say no. It's be good to guarantee that she can't say no." It becomes that much easier to think, "She says she was raped? She was asking for it by the way she was dressed. She probably liked it."

Words can change opinions. Opinions can change behaviors. Behaviors can be very bad things.

First of all: Whether or not the joke is funny or not doesn't matter. Not everyone has the same humor. People are different. That's a thing and it's okay. It's what makes life interesting.

Secondly: Nowhere did I mention the first amendment, free speech or anything of the like. You are, however, very much free to ignore any of us and our evil, hurtful thoughts and speeches. There's convenient functions in almost all online games, forums, chatrooms and the like. One click and the offender is gone.

Thirdly: English is not my first language and I didn't care enough to confirm whether virtuality was a real word or not. (Note: turns out it is. http://www.thefreedictionary.com/virtuality ) When your only argument is critizing my language, however, then perhaps you should sit back and re-think your argument and make an actual point.

Fourthly: Assholes, psychopaths and rapists are real. If rape culture is real then so are murder culture, theft culture and underground cockfight culture. One of the most played videogames of my childhood was Pokemon Yellow. Loved it. Still come back to it every now and then when on long train or bus trips. Yet, oddly enough, this game has not influenced me to the point where I keep a zoo of animals in basement and have them fight each other and collecting my winnings from the owner of the other animals' owner. And do you know why that is? Because I'm not a fucking retarded psychopath.
Just because rapists go around doing their thing doesn't mean that everyone who's ever chuckled at dark humor will go around re-enacting.

Armilus, further up, was talking about we are, unfortunately in his opinion, perched together with 'autists, spergs and just generally stupid people'. Not only is that absolutely incorrect (refer to my second point about ignoring people) but also do I personally find the reverse much worse.
The internet is full of people like you who think they know better, not only for themselves and their peers but also for everyone else, the people that are sitting in their own quite corner laughing at their own dumb jokes whether you like them or not, feeling self-righteous about a need to censor them. And that is absolutely not okay.
