Does this apply to premades with 5 people as well? Because it would be sad if cant play with some friends.

Some changes are made to what's "Blizzlike" for the good of the server. I can think of a few off the top of my head:

- Griefing quest hubs for 5+ hours.
- Safespotting.
- Devilsaur skinning.

And now premades. Due to the difference in how people play now compared to 2005-06 and due to the enormous population of Nost, certain changes need to be made to Blizzlike procedures to keep things in balance.

Premades fighting pugs was killing level 60 PVP. It was to the point where, for months, if you were Horde and tried to play in WSG or AB, you'd run into an Alliance premade that would beat the everliving shit out of your team. It's gotten so bad that Horde usually just AFK in WSG/AB. I've even seen them do it in games where Alliance doesn't have a premade. If you actually premade as Horde, then prepare for 30-60 minute queue times, which is just ludicrous. Horde queue times are long enough already, never mind multiplying it by a factor of three or more.

Besides, a lot of the staunch premade players claim the true, real fun of premades is to have epic premade vs premade battles so people can put their coordination to the test. Well, now they can.

I agree with OP, why should premades have to actually work hard to reach their goals?
Why can't they just roflstomp their way through pugs?
Why can't we all just be given R14 now instead of grinding honor?
Some very important answers are needed you admins!

Seems you gotta pug like the others and get equal chances to queue with anyone out there.

You want to achieve your goals and dreams? Now you actually have to try with random people.

And its the same for everyone. So rank 14 is possible simply

premades stil happen to come against puggs rlly,
they just queue solo on teamspeak at same time.
can happen they got 1-2 other randoms but it stil the same bulshit rlly.
and tried out if you queue up with like 5 friends and i ended up in a wsg with 5 vs 10 the whole game and the 10 horde were premade.

its stil a premade rlly if they queue up solo all togheter at same time my opion.
just happen they maybe lack 1-2 ppl but they stil reck the shit out of pugs.

If this is true then I am feeling somewhat conflicted. I solo grinded to rank 8 in may/early june when the first people were still hiting rank 12-14 (looking at you maitoz), and that was a horrible experience. I got the r8 gear and called it quits, my server activity also greatly dropped, but I kept on loging for raids. My rank almost fell to 5.

Now, some time later, I have found myself in a position where I had enough likeminded individuals that wanted to pvp, so we made a premade. We were beating all the premades that ran WSG this weekend (provided we had all our 10 people in the game, lost one time when we were 9), and now things finally are looking up.

More or less, I now lead one of the strongest premades on the server. Ranks are bound to come over time as we're not that high ranked yet, max is 2 rank 9s - we even have a rank 1 priest in our group. We also don't completely nolife yet, as we're not pushing standings until more of our crew end up in the rank 9-10 area. We grind 150-200k honor per week as it is.

But now if this is implemented my team will eventually starve because even though we win all the time (so far), we will gain less honor than pugers, and people will eventually lose the motivation to play because we often have to struggle it out with 30 minute games. More and more premades will quit and we're gonna end up with silly queuetimes on the horde side too.

More or less, if this change is implemented my newly made team that I spent a lot of hard work to build will be forced to disband. I'm not happy about it, but if it keeps the pvp scene on this server going and makes many people happy then I might just be able to bite the bullet for it. But still, not happy about it.

Devs, could you please issue a statement if you really did this change or not. I would love to know.
