Im pretty sure the people running the server want people playing on it and making suggestions, and I am just as sure they are NOT going to be thrilled by toxic people like you telling players to leave

You mean like tailors, blacksmiths, leather workers and alchemists being able to sell items in the auction house, while enchanters can't? Is that what you mean? Exactly what "ALL OTHERS" are you referring to in this case? Last I checked after enchanters, there were NO OTHERS affected by this. It isn't a huge deal, it does not affect game play, it does not affect what materials you can sell or trade items you can sell, a black smith can still sell his crafted items, in fact the ONLY thing this change would affect is that you could go buy enchants for your gear from the auction house. And anyone arguing different is just a petty mean shallow little person that can't stand the idea of anyone other than themselves getting the same as they are.

Im not saying nost devs will put vellum in game, i am saying it is something to be considered.

And as far as item having stats or not, the main point i was making is that THIS IS NOT VANILLA WORLD OF WARCRAFT. So the devs do have some freedom to make changes they feel would be an improvement in the game. Hence the suggestion in the first place.


Like I said before, the devs decided to create a server as blizlike as possible, its their freedom.

You didnt get my point about the consequences. I wasnt refering to crafted items being sellable or whatever. I was talking about changing something just for convenience even though they would knew it wouldnt be blizzlike. That would cause a huge wave of further "convenience"-suggestions.

My personal 2cents:

You knew what you were up to when you decided to take ench as your profession. It is YOUR freedom to change it if you think it doesnt reward you with easy/enough gold. Dont blame the game or devs for a decision you made yourself.

It's never going to be implemented, because it's not in the vanilla code. They're not going to rewrite the whole vanilla coding just to implement the one WOTLK coding and profession that allowed Enchanting Vellum. It's not going to happen. this is not WOTLK.

Go join a WOTLK server if you're deadset and /wristing over this feature.

It's actually not possible to add enchanting vellums into the game with a 1.12.1 client, since it's the client that would need to change as well.
The pizza level in my bloodstream is dangerously low.

And where exactly do scrolls *of stamina, intel, agil, etc* come from?

Unecessary mention of bad grammar among the general population of WoW players aside, Inscription was planned to be added at 2.0.1 initially, along with transmogs and achievements. Luckily the 2 latter didn't make it into the best exp. pack, would've made it lesser.

there is already one quest reward item in game at least that uses the same mechanics as a vellum that you can use to enchant other people's weapons with fiery so it might be possible but 100% sure it won't happen

You are allowed to mbox to chant alt gears. If you dont wanna advertise your enchanting in world/trade feel free to drop it for another profession.

There's just too much work in any case, I'm against it either way since it's a major mechanism, not some small thing like mounts not dismounting when entering water, (which is neat but also not vanilla).
