we don't need boost. we need people to start experimenting more about retri and prot instead being so mono way (stubborn) of thinking about them.

i have done tanking and maintanking any raid boss that exist in vanilla as prot paladin. being also as retri (overall non bosses run) top damage on meter .

It's been theorycrafted to the death, paladins fall short on everything, especially with the bad itemization currently in place.

then all the theorycrafted you read are false and fail.

how can it be possible that i have done all bosses that exist and everything perfect if your theorycraft say that is fall?

start learn from practice instead theory . it will make your life much better. as i said before if people are not so stubborn and monotonous they would realize that everything is balanced and viable in vanilla.

As for this.

Confirmation bias, subjective opinion, not having access to the best possible gear, not having the knowledge of the max potential of classes, not realizing that even if you are "good" another class can do it better with half the effort, playing with others who are not great at their class thus you look "good" in comparison, I could make an essay on all the reasons why facts and numbers>>>>>>>>>>>>personal experience, but I'm not going to waste my time if someone can't understand that.

As for the OP's suggestion, NO.

If you want balanced classes go play Wrath of the Lich King and beyond, Vanilla and even the Burning Crusade just had specs that were objectively inferior or outright useless in raids.

I don't need any effort to even tank anything , gear is full available and there is no question about it. If people actually trust in "another class can do it better" then this is just false as ever.

you know where warriors fails on giving maximum threats toward bosses that reset agro and are immune on taunt , the paladins can do twice better than warriors.

Actually my efforts are watching my screen and click 1 button each 30 seconds... you know what that mean compare to warrior tanks ? ... they have to destroy their keyboard to give this effort.

I have personally tanked all molten core,aq20/40,zg,naxx,ony bosses that exist as paladin and i have done pretty well and easy .

all you need is to understand how the bosses work .
not knowing how mechanic of single boss/raid work it is not my problem , it is only your own denial that lack of knowledge about them .

p.s i have evidence of what i have achieved and if nostalrius staff allow me i can show you that "no one is unique" and everyone can do same as those you call "viable" .

It was a decent troll attempt up untill this point, then you gave it away.

If you are actually serious, I think you should prove all us haters wrong by joining an MC pug (cause I'm assuming you are not a guild-raider with that spec) and record it on realmplayers. I would love to see your dps on Sulfuron :)

I am also slowly leveling but once i hit 60 i can show you what retri pve means during raids.. especially in aoe fights.
