Possible way to raise money for the server

Pay to win = receiving an advantage over everyone else, no matter how small, for money. Faster leveling = advantage. I got from this server what was advertised: no p2w and blizzlike. If they changed it, I would leave. If you wish to play a vanilla server without the slowness of leveling, you're welcome to go to a 2x server. All of us who are playing here like it, so if you don't, then you're welcome to leave.

You're all missing the point. I don't want to play a x2 server, I personally don't mind the leveling but being a ranked 1 player you know a lot of people and a lot of them would like to play here but can't stomach the leveling grind. I am finding a solution for solid income and to bring more players to the server. You say you'd leave but you wouldn't the only reason you don't want this to happen is because you didn't have the choice when you joined.

The beauty of this is it wouldn't effect the players wanting the nostalgic feel to the server or whatever the kid before said in his post. The end game isn't changed etc etc.

The server has income in the form of donations. If they need more, they ask. Players give. As for more players, this server is overpopulated as it is. At least the people who are here now don't complain because there's no p2w.

You don't know how servers work, I've worked for 3 big pservers and voluntary donations only go so far.
