How does agreeing on a COD deal imply knowledge about unpredictable waiting times? Everything about coding is predictable, all I'm asking is to shorten a timer that's already in place.

Items that are COD take about an hour to arrive.
You have 72 hours to accept or return.

Nothing about that is unpredictable. All I'm asking is that the 72 hour wait be made 24 hours or even 36 or 48. I just don't think someone who is already doing the buyer a favor by CODing should have to wait 3 days to get paid.

it's unpredictable when the mail is going to be accepted, all you know is a time span.
That's the nature of CoD trades

Shortening the time span is unnecessary. If someone refuses to accept the CoD mail within the given time simply don't trade with them anymore.

Ya but what's the problem with shortening the timer to force people to act on what they said they would do? Why have it be 3 days in the first place? I'm not asking for something that is going to be hard to change or have a huge affect on most players. It's just a simple quality of life change. It improves the quality of life for people who have to COD trade during some situations.

Your giving me a lot of resistance but no reasons why the change isn't helpful or any reasons why the current system is good. If you feel like it's a waste of time, why post so many replies?

to give the mail recipient enough time to accept the trade even if he for whatever reason can't accept it within 24 hours.

Long story short: It just doesn't matter and a change is unnecessary

Why is 24 hours not enough time? Saying 24 hours isn't enough time but not giving a reason why is a lazy way to debate

Just because you think it doesn't matter or is unnecessary is not good enough. Your just one person. You don't represent the interests of this community or staff.

(whilst I'm certain the developer's interest is not having to do unnecessary stuff to satisfy one player)

It should stay at 72 hours, all I'm seeing here is crying because it doesn't fit YOUR personal preference instead of the greater good.

@stif never cried about needing a blizzard like server. I've actually done the opposite saying blizzard like doesn't have to mean exactly the same as blizzard.

@pokey how else should I come up with suggestions if not based on my personal experience and prefrences?

@Dreez I love that you have the ability to read the minds of the devs and can tell what they think is not necessary. You also seem to feel it's neccasary to take the time to argue with me while saying the idea is not worth the time, which makes me think your trolling.

Basically your arguing (or trolling) the timer needs to be 3 days cause people take a long time to jerk off? Or is it to do the other activities you mentioned that don't require 24 hours.

Personal preference is the cancer of democrazy. Only use cod with people you trust, the rest you should sell the stuff face to face.
