This skill is not always successful because nearby enemies do have a chance based on your relative level to resist this effect.

For PvP encounters, this will cause enemies to drop you as a target. For spellcasters, this means they will have to start casting again; rogues will lose any generated combo points if they do not respond quickly enough; and minions/pets will stop attacking. Sometimes players can also be fooled into thinking a hunter is dead, especially if they are in a rush.

Moving or performing any action while feigning death will cancel the spell.

IOW, most players will either go "Oh lemme just use an instant to make sure he's dead. OH HE'S NOT! LET'S KILL HIM FOR REAL!" OR see you drop the trap and immediately return to nuking your moronic self.

resisted effect have message in combat log. theres no message in this case. answering to idiots like guirsane its useless as they do not speak about problem.

also not working. it happend only few times, but pet didnt attack on the target standing infront of him even he was ordered to do so. its better than on feenix but still not "perfect" as ur link says. also pets aggro isnt fixed.

im sticking to simple rule "if u dont like, feel free to leave". so all i want is message from responsible person, not randoms, if they will/wont do anything about this problem.
if they wont, im not gona argue or anything, its gona be their choice. i just wanna know the answer. few ticket i've opened was closed without answer.

I'm glad it's not bugged here. Feign death was too easy mode as it stood.

so u wanna say hunter had advantage against meeles right. lol. ah ur playing warrior. so thats obvious why ur happy, but as every average warrior, u shouldnt have real problem

Actually, I understand what OP meant - I have a macro for PetFollow+PetPassive on Feign Death, but the thing is... it's not about the pet. The issue comes from classes with auto attacks, i.e you use feign death but Warrior still hits you and it puts you in combat without even dropping it, I've noticed it multiple times on Nost and it's KINDA frustrating... None of the other servers had this issue, so I guess sometimes it bugs out here and doesn't properly stop auto attackers or something.
Also double trap doesn't work here, if you try to FD+trap the 2nd mob, 1st one breaks as soon as 2nd trap triggers (I tried it multiple times in dungeons where mobs were getting aggroed on other members, not only me, so Evade is not the case, it just doesn't work).
Lags on these server favour melee classes as it seems, since "effective" dead zone is like 13-15 yards in PvP, when you can't finish Aimed shot but it's still available. I doubt that this one comes from my side since I have ~40 ms usually...
Forgot to add that Defensive mods on pets is bugged, it works just as Agressive, if you're close to mobs pet will automatically agro on them, also if you right click any mob it starts automatically running towards it and tries to attack, but it shouldn't. It should only respond if YOU ARE getting attacked by something. Same thing can be seen when you command your pet to attack mobs with pets (I think AI puts all pets to Defensive mode) - enemy pet will aggro on your pet as soon as your pet starts running towards it, but the mob itself doesn't aggro yet (so it can be used to gain an advantage over mobs with pets), which means that this thing happens because of bugged Defensive mode, not something else... #5yearsindevelopment
