The purpose of this server is to provide an experience as close to the classic game as possible. The new models were not a part of classic, and to implement them would be against everything Nostalrius stands for. People come here to relive the past, not to change it. For these reasons, they would never do it. If you truly want that, then you should find another server that caters to it.

Firstly, this sounds terribly like a suggestion, so it belongs in the suggestion forum. Secondly, this will never happen, as the administration has said many times that, they aren't going to bring about changes that are outside the spirit of the original game. It must be so tiresome having to constantly repeat themselves. Thirdly, and, besides the point, the new character models look terrible, seriously, Disney called, and said they wanted their spry, low gravity, craptastic, slash bouncy run animations back.

Even on those servers a lot of hair textures and portraits do not work, just image that on a Vanilla one.

So I see that that Nostalrius community is just as rabidly against anything 'non-classic' as the P99 community. While, like yeah... i enjoy sticking to 'classic' things. I do not enjoy the crazed sperging that people spout out when someone suggests otherwise.

Crazed sperging? Are you reading what people are saying? They are just tired of the same old posts when Nost Devs have stated that his project is going to remain as classic as possible and will not change. Everyone is so used to things being catered to their every need. Nost is classic vanilla, simple as that. People are here to enjoy that aspect. It would be nice if people understand their community/server/game before they start playing on it and just immediately ask things to be changed.
