That's not touching the stuff that SuplexGod added which are extremely subjective and hard to test.

It's not like they merely need to tweak a single file in Notepad - a poorly thought out and tested "fix" can be worse than the problem it is trying to solve.

Can confirm that fear is just very random. Sometimes it breaks instantly while other times it breaks after dots have done 10-15% damage on the enemy. Only a few times have I managed to not have fear brake on a shadow bolt.

But remember the fear break mechanic is highly related to how much % of your enemies total health you've damaged. If you fear then put up dots and cast a shadow bolt. If you've only done about 15-20% of your enemies health after the shadow bolt lands then it might not always break.

Also fear, frost nova and roots all use the same damage break formula(or should at least), changing one will change them all.

+fear was much more powerful in vanilla than in later expansions, there's a reason why people say WotF is op.

Bump, devs need to stop ignoring this feedback, of if they aren't at least start acknowledging it. Just a quick answer that you are LOOKING into it would be a nice start.

Already enough time with high droprates has passed that it now has an effect on the server's economy.

I came here to play on a blizzlike 1x / 1x server, while the exp rates are fine it's sad to see the loot rates aren't

Yes. There is too many greens drops. thus creating too much gold. Thus ruining the game.

It's funny how easy people are able to afford their mounts at level 40. You either needed to be lucky or spend time playing the AH or farming mats to do that on retail, the struggle was real. Not the case here, most people I've spoken to have had around 100g at level 40 and another 300-400g by the time they reach 60. Easy mode.

A thing worth to consider is that now 10 years later people know how to earn money, and they know what sells and for how much on the AH. The people that play vanilla servers today are ALOT more informed on the game and its mechanics as the noobs we were 10 years ago.

This may or may not be the case, but I think it's worth thinking about.

When I leveled I didnt touch professions, auction house, dungeons, anything. Purely vendoring mob drops and completing quests got me just over 100g by level 40.

General wealth is too low to be earning any money on the auction house.

You may be, but believe me it ramps up significantly after level 30 (the price of drops). You probably won't have as much as I did because the drops were slightly nerfed since then according to patch notes, but you won't be very far off the mount I assure you.

Also if it were retail, you would be VERY lucky to have found that single blue world drop, yet it seems almost everyone on this server has found one or several since then. I found 2 lynx boots and a tiger cloak by level 32 which is just ridiculous. I would need to level 5 characters to 30 to maybe see 1 blue on retail iirc.
