It has been 10 days since both the horde and alliance have killed Onyxia and Ragnaros. I completely understand not rushing to make decisions instantly, work hard to make one quality choice. I get it. 10 days now and we have heard nothing. As a raider, I feel ignored. It feels like you are perfectly fine with keeping us in the dark with vague promises of announcements soon(TM).
Ive been saying to players from other guilds as well as my own. I would love to see the Devs/admins/someone, just put out a short box of text talking about daily progress. Even things like "Admins discussion about potential delay of content". Just pin a topic and add a note at the top of the post each day. Hell even every 2-3 days. Take 5 minutes every couple nights and just put down in writing so we can see that you arent just ignoring the server from an administrative point. These things can even be ways to get reactions from the server. "Talk about raising boss HP values by 30%" Would obviously get feedback from players (Pro and Con) without needing to implement it or post a lengthy pro/con yourself. It would naturally hash itself out.
There is obviously work being done on the server/coding side, the patch notes are a glimpse into that side of the dev team. But we have no idea what your thought process is going forward. For all we know, BWL could be 2 years away, not 5 weeks and 6 days like it should be if you stuck to the initial plan. I think most people would assume at this point its probably closer to 2 months from now, but its all guesses and assumptions. I would rather know that the content is going to be out 6 months from now, then not know when its going to come.
PLEASE, PLEASE, I implore you to give us insight. Give us context. Give us a reason to trust you. I have been very pleased with the overall experience of Nostalrius, the good and the bad. There is one complaint that I feel has never been addressed though. And it is the lack of communication. Small strides on a semi-daily basis would go a HUGE way. At this point I think this is the single way you can improve the server the most. While my personal desire is linked to progression, this extends to Dev thoughts on PVP, world events, exploits, server drama and whatever else you can think of.

I would really just love one little thread from the admins that atleast says the bwl/dire maul etc clock has started. We were told we were getting an announcement three days ago and there's been nothing but silence.
