Give Us A Reason to Donate

I believe it would be in the best interest of the server to offer an increased leveling rep or honor buff for a donation fee of say anywhere from 4.99 to 9.99 (USD I'm a stateside player so convert that into whatever euro amount would be to your liking.) You could figure a way for this 'buff' to only apply to one character and only last 30 days or a week or something to profit the server a little more. I think people would be very willing to donate for that. I'm not talking some crazy high rate. I mean something like x4 TOPS. No need to go overboard.

If you don't feel like supporting without gaining an advantage, then I suggest you move to another server.

4x is not p2w, but it's still not blizzlike.

That's great, in 5 years they'll get some money from that. Doesn't help right now, though.

I would rather pay money to keep this from ever happening. Keeping the server at a 1x leveling speed is big draw for me.

I think the only think they can do and be good for all is a donater rang have a prioritary request IG and have the choice to have rate x2 (rate x1 100 exp ;rate x2 = 150 exp or 200 exp i don't remember )
and maybe some other things usefull like for enormous donator like 100$ a gift like a tee shirt or somethink like that.

nos would piss of more players (and possible donators) with donation rewards then without.

as i already stated here Donation = giving money WITHOUT a reward. otherwise it is more like buying stuff.

If pure donations were not enough, the staff could simply open a FUN realm. It would benefits from Nostalrius scripts but would have instant 60 and a Pay to Win shop. There is a public for this. It is not the same public than Nostalrius. It would bring a lot of money to the team without affecting Nostalrius in any way. That server would also offer people a way to test HL content before they roll on Nostalrius.

The current donations seems to be enough anyway.

They probably dont wanna get shutdown, once you start "donating" for any items weather they be vanity or whatever blizzard is gonna start getting pissed.

Plus it's a donation you don't need a special title or anything just the good in your heart.
