herbs and everything else will become more and more expensive day by day anyway due to inflation. as time passes and ppl have nothing better to do, they generate more and more money.
example for black lotus (which is the only herb that has the right blizzlike spawn-behaviour):
it spawns in 4 zones, 1 time per hour
so there are 96 per day
so there are 672 per week
the down-time, till it gets gatheres after it spawned is very very low so there definitly are >650 gathered each week
how many raid IDs are there? 100?
so even if there are 100 raid-IDs each week, there would be >6 ppl each ID that could use a flask.
but most guilds only give 1 tank a flask. and more "usually" is not neccessary. so there would be 550 spare black lotus each week, up for sale for vanity flasks
some rich ppl are simply hording the black lotus for dry times or to manipulate the market, and other rich ppl dont care to pay a lot for their vanity flasks
plus the high prices of black lotus are also a result of the fact that they are the only blizzlike spawning herb here.
also because the other herbs are inflationary compared to black lotus. example: lets say one is willing to pay 100g for a titans flask in total. since the gromsblood and stonescale oil is way more accessable (because its bugged/not blizzlike here), the guy that wants the titans flask does not have to pay for these as much and has more money he can spend on the black lotus.
if the gromsblood+stonescale oil was more expensiv, this guy would not have had as much money to spend for the black lotus. thus, it would be cheaper. market dynamics.
ive already proven in another whine-thread on the example of ghost mushrooms that the spawnrate for herbs is ~3x higher than it
should be (blizzlike) here.
and its even worse for rich thorium veins, they are ~5x more than blizzlike here.
thats why all the complaints are pathetic.
oh and as we are speaking about flasks
how would you like this pre patch 1.7 guys?
Patch 1.7.0 (13-Sep-2005): The Effects of Flasks will now persist through death.
