PvE server

I'd be so relieved if a real server was made in addition to, or in place of the dysfunctional PVP setting. It's such a waste of good coding to let people deface the game flow.

World PVP is like going into a restaurant where they not only have a smoking section, the smoking section is the whole restaurant. And you can't see anyone eating, they're just blowing smoke in your face.

There's about as much thought put into WoW's pvp as there was into giving it an original story. I'd compare it to Desert Bus on the excitement scale.

There are no plans to open a separate server. We are sticking with our original plan and we hope most people will enjoy our PvP server.

We understand that not everyone wants a PvP server. That's fine. We're not catering to everyone. We're catering to those that want one of the best vanilla experiences offered on private servers, with a gigantic population along with not only the pros that brings [quick groups, big guilds, plenty of raiding, large market, etc] but also the cons [constant world pvp, heavily farmed zones, etc]. We know that not everything is working perfectly. It happens. But we're always working to make the server better than it was the day before.

As a reminder, don't forget that behind a private server project, there are humans. These people try their best to make their project go fine and to reach the goals they fixed themselves in the beginning of their work.

We are all working as hard as we can to make this server as enjoyable for as many people as possible, but there will always be people who are not satisfied with the way things are or think we should be doing something different with our project. We're always open to suggestions, but the core project will remain the same.

Fair enough. You just lost a player. Love the server, don't love the PvP. I played on a PvP realm for ten years, and I gotta say - it was cool when I was a teenager. Now that I'm older I just don't want to bother anyone, do my quests, and be left alone by the opposite faction.

Best of luck to you and the rest of the staff. I'll return should a PvE option open, and to the other players: one less person to compete with for quests.

I am in the exact same boat.. Played retail PvP server since beta, but moved all my chars to PvE before WoD came out,i just cant be bothered anymore,as i am now a middle aged dude who just wants to enjoy a little nostalgic wow, which is impossible on this server now,as i spend more time corpse running than actually playing.. Too bad, this servers technical prowess is off the chart,and by far the best i have ever experienced.

I hear ya. I'm an old fart too. And while I do enjoy some world PvP, I'd enjoy a PvE server more.

A second server is gonna come... some day. I pray it's PvE. Another PvP doesn't make sense.

I mean, Software/Hardware upgrades don't change the fact that the world wasn't designed for this many people. Maybe they are waiting for it to hit 10k people?! LOL! I think it won't be that long before it does.

Good for you, but not everyone finds this enjoying.. I did my fair share of pvp,i reached rank 12 back in the day, but as i get older,neither my patience nor my reflexes are what they used to be,and now i find it to be extremely tedious having 60s camp the low lvl quest areas,or simply hunting you all over the map to the point of you having to leave the zone,or stop playing.. It gets tiresome real fast,all because a private server is like a buffet for douschebags that didnt get allowed this behaviour in retail. Just take a look at some of the guild names, it is very clear there is no moderation,and this it is definitly NOT blizzlike in any capacity

I was playing on a pvp server in vanilla and then spent 80 euro to transfer 4 of my characters on a pve realm. I understand you don't cater to all players and I love what you are trying to do here

Although is not my cap of tea. I love vanilla and would love to play again but not in a pvp realm sorry. Wish you good luck with your project. I hope Blizzard will finally understand how profitable will be to make a progression server like EQ.
