When server is overpopulated, there should be faster spawn rates +dynamic spawnrate for Black Lotus to avoid camping same spot by 10 logouted players.

Yeah, and those are fine. People coming in here and saying, "Herbs are fine" when only talking about the pre-60 herbs--in a thread primarily about Black Lotus (and now Plaguebloom)--are pants-on-head retarded.

My guild has trouble getting tanks flasks already since many of us have jobs because you guys have a BROKEN spawnrate. I understand that this game is a timesink, but my guild herbalists rarely see black lotus AT ALL. We often have to buy flasks on the AH for INSANE prices. This isn't much of an issue now as only I as the MT absolutely need flasks, but once Naxx is released, it will cost 1k+ gold EVERY WEEK for ONLY my flasks, IF we can even FIND THEM on the AH AT ALL!!! At that point, Naxx progression will depend on what guild has the best chinese gold farmers and not how good their raid group is.

FIX YOUR SHIT!!!!

bump for even more attention, anyway to fellow european herbers that doesnt herb for PROFIT but for your own elixirs, wake up 06.00 in the morning on sundays and farm a stack of plaguebloom within an hour!

I also see a logic in not changing the spawn rates, this relativism to the spawn can go on to greater lengths.

We also have much more raiders, doing more high end raid content, do that also count to the calculation?

Most of us are adults now, have jobs, kids, etc, do we also get changed spawntime?

In my opinion, there is no valid reason to change it. Those who do good in Naxx are those who prepared, not those with china farmers or other lame excuses. I have literally seen people who was playing when flasks was 30g each, ask for flasks in BWL when they where 120g.

But its easier to blame the server, but IMO people should rather face the problem now, that includes players and guild leaders.

Yeah its okay people should prepare for upcomming content and so on, but you have to admit that 50G for a plaguebloom stack is to much, there is simply NOT enough herbs to supply all raiders in the game, for me it sounds like a good idea to fix it slightly since the server have so many players. I dont have any problems getting consumables, but 50g is to much anyway, and the price is that high because its not enough plagueblooms

So my point is, ofc its logic to do it. on a 3000 cap realm plagueblooms most likely wouldnt be a problem, but with 6-7K active raiders it is a problem

Its a real point of contention. Increased spawnrates would be another departure from blizzlike, but given that the population is already 3x it might bring the game closer to blizzlike vanilla...

Thats what people say, it wont be "blizzlike" - BUT we have 6000 active players ( ish? ) and blizz is 2-3k - so doubling the spawn time would actually be blizzlike. Dont mistake me, i started here because i wanted blizzlike, but its just logic to have greater spawn-time with alot more people 8-)

again i'm saying... dont INCREASE the rates.... ADD more stuff (ores, herbs).

Adding more stuff won't be a departure from x1 rates and it will barely be noticed by any new player on server. Therefore, that new guy on server will still have blizzlike feeling.

Why am I against increased spawnrate? well, not blizz like *and* same old camp fest on same old spots.
Why am I for adding more spawn spots? More stuff for everyone, less chance to get camped on spawned node due to a higher number of existing ones, will have even better impact on server than unblizzlike stuff like increased rates.

Not a science really. You got 7k ppl at any given time, why is this such a problem to do?
