I don't think you understood my original post correctly. I'll quote myself for your convenience
Sulg wrote:I believe if you choose to release both at the same time/day on Nostalrius, you'll create a situation where you've got 10-20 guilds or even more, all trying to claim the tag on the Scarshield Quartermaster at once
Sulg wrote:Even if my concern above turns out to be obsolete, I still believe a better solution would be to implement the quest for the attunement some time prior to BWL opening, and as for the actual raid release, try to compromise and land on a somewhat neutral time so most EU/US guilds can have a go at it regardless of their time zone, and be able to start BWL at roughly the same time on the opening day.
If you release the attunement separately from the raid, it follows that the best solution for the raid opening itself is an early evening/midday release during a weekend, in order to let guilds from different time zones all experience the new content at once.
I'm not arguing for an early release of the attunement because I'm afraid of losing server firsts, I'm arguing for it because I don't think it's in any guilds interest to spend hours trying to get a tag on quartermaster or waiting for players who get instagibbed every time they ress up and attempt to enter UBRS.
In the long run it won't really matter whether they stick to the blizzlike release or the one suggested here, though I honestly believe if they run with the latter option, most players in raiding guilds will look back on the actual raid release as an awesome evening of big loot and deaded dragons, while with the former, many will just remember it as "that shitfest where we got 1 try on vael at 2 am".
