did anyone make a research about this?
i know blizz experimented somewhat with the matchmaking system during vanilla and changed it 2 or 3 times.
so are these changes blizzlike or really custom? cause thats the real question.

however, if it was custom and the devs dont want to stick with the blizzlike matchmaking some kind of elo-system would probably the best. so like R12 ppl have to fight R12 ppl on average and R2 ppl R2 ppl imo.

What's the point to get rank 13-14 if u just pick up 3 flags for all day fighting no one?
Now u'll have to EARN your rank and do u know how it was frustrating to play a WSG or AB for a player that wasn't in a premade? I think that this system is more fair.

yea implement this so in future when i wanna 2 men que with a friend for fun and i wanna meet good competition ill end up 1 shoting some random 3000 hp retri paladins with "show helm" option all day..

If this is true then I am feeling somewhat conflicted. I solo grinded to rank 8 in may/early june when the first people were still hiting rank 12-14 (looking at you maitoz), and that was a horrible experience. I got the r8 gear and called it quits, my server activity also greatly dropped, but I kept on loging for raids. My rank almost fell to 5.

Now, some time later, I have found myself in a position where I had enough likeminded individuals that wanted to pvp, so we made a premade. We were beating all the premades that ran WSG this weekend (provided we had all our 10 people in the game, lost one time when we were 9), and now things finally are looking up.

More or less, I now lead one of the strongest premades on the server. Ranks are bound to come over time as we're not that high ranked yet, max is 2 rank 9s - we even have a rank 1 priest in our group. We also don't completely nolife yet, as we're not pushing standings until more of our crew end up in the rank 9-10 area. We grind 150-200k honor per week as it is.

But now if this is implemented my team will eventually starve because even though we win all the time (so far), we will gain less honor than pugers, and people will eventually lose the motivation to play because we often have to struggle it out with 30 minute games. More and more premades will quit and we're gonna end up with silly queuetimes on the horde side too.

More or less, if this change is implemented my newly made team that I spent a lot of hard work to build will be forced to disband. I'm not happy about it, but if it keeps the pvp scene on this server going and makes many people happy then I might just be able to bite the bullet for it. But still, not happy about it.

Devs, could you please issue a statement if you really did this change or not. I would love to know.

Hand on heart, no I do not make this up. We even have screenshots to back it up if you so wish.

That being said, I may not have run into ALL premades.

This is the best thread ever, I laughed so hard to all the spoiled little crybabies. You think it was a good system where 20 games in a row could easily be premades and where the pug side just had to afk or what ever and wait for the game to end? The purpose of BG's is to have fun and do pvp not just grinding honor or reputation. Now the games are actually enjoyable and they make actual sense, not just afking and wasting time on doing nothing.

This is the best thing to happen for the bg's. Thank you so much admins! Dont listen to these spoiled crybabies.

so people that are premading get fined because they start to organize themself and dominate the BGs so hard that pugs dont even want to try to fight vs them !?! if these so called pugs cant organize themself and create a own premade then they should just shut up and hope to get into a pug vs pug game, you are not supposed to get high ranks without premading so all these "changes" are total BS and the people that cry about pug vs premade are just a bunch of clueless idiots that are probabbly just jaelous about the people that actually made it to organize themself, sit for hours together in ts and dominate the shit out of bad premades/pugs, why should the DEVs punish dedicated players for plying teh game how it is supposed to be.
