The famous lashers for mages, kickass grinding mobs!

although not quite as kickass anymore, less xp per kill, still though grinding them still nets a decent amount of cash (through the greys they drop) and greens.

these still drops epic? heard their xp and drops was seriously nerfed in some patch >.<

These mobs were nerfed literally while I was pulling. I zoned in and got 225 per mob, zoned out, reset, came back in and got 65 per kill Either way I went from 52-58 in 2 days of casual play.

Additional drops like living essence and items can result in net gain of 20-40g per hour depending on drops.

I've been making an average of 50g per hour just from selling the garbage loot. Please explain to me how this was never fixed. I would like to hear more.

I also farm DM E... I know how much can be made. Since I don't have any citation on it being fixed and neither do you other than comments saying they were nerfed without defining how they were seems like something happened. The staff only needs a patch citation on the change to fix it. That's gonna be hard to find.

It was one of Blizz's famous invisible fixes that came in between patches and was never in any patchnote. It seems the experience reward was nerfed. However, no mention of loot in those comments, thus we can't prove that anything needs to be done with it.

But we can continue to spam the forums complaining about this until the devs cave in to our whine and provide us with some cheese(ey) unannounced "fix" that nerfs the lashers to no longer be profitable.

Plus, with this situation we don't have proof how things were changed. But that's no obstacle for the devs! Surely, if they can ignore when and how things were changed with DM Tribute on retail Vanilla and provide their own "fix", they can do the same thing with the lashers. All we need is more whine. MORE WHINE!!

While I think they're right to protect the economy with un-Blizzlike changes, do you really think they'd simply nerf the lashers' drop rates? They'd have to at least make them immune to any aoe effects and teleport to any mage in the group when frozen in place, while simultaneously aggroing the entire instance. That should do it.

I think they should try doing the exact opposite of what they did with DMN - Link all the lashers of the whole instance together.

Why does hunters always assume the devs made the change due to people whining and not by:
Looking objectively at the situation -> Concluding the whole situation was unhealthy for the economy -> Taking proper action to fix the situation?
I have personally only seen 1 whine-thread about hunters and DMN before the fix, on the other hand I have seen countless threads made by hunters crying about it after the fix, which kinda proves why it needed to be fixed in the first place. If hunters could make close to the same amount of gold grinding other places (like a lot of you have claimed you can) I'm sure no one would even bother crying on the forums about it. That is the only logical explanation, I'm not buying the whole "immersion" and "blizzlike" garbage people spew out, I refuse to believe anyone can be so narrowminded and borderline autistic to claim that a much needed fix in ONE instance is ruining their whole game experience.
You can definitely argue that it wasn't done in a gracious fashion, but please just get over it or gtfo. No one owes you anything, especially not on a free server.
Watching grown men cry and feel victimized like this is beyond pathetic to say the least.
