I'm not disagreeing with you, just looking to go a bit deeper.

Looking for something like "Pet damage is X% higher than normal" or "Pet damage is not being adjusted for attack speed" versus "Pet damage is wrong" :P

No you!

Seriously, if you can't provide evidence to backup what you are saying then please stop shitting up the thread. If you think these damage values are accurate please post the expected base damage and all of the damage multipliers/modifiers that would explain a level 37 hunter pet hitting as hard as a level 60 BM pet from the retail video.

Is there some difference between 1.12 and the patch when the video was recorded?

If you can't provide any of the above info, then you obviously have no idea what you are talking about.

http://www.blizzardguides.com/wow_hunter_pet_guide.html

Taken from 2006

Important:

Health: At 60. "High" is around 3300, "medium" around 3000, and "low" around 2800. Remember that magic ignores armor, so health may be more important to your tank or raid pet than armor.
Armor: At 60. "High" is around 3900, "medium" around 3700, and "low" around 3500.
DPS: At 60. "High" is around 54, "medium" around 50, and "low" around 47.

So now we can calculate how much damage at 60 a pet should do.

Raptors - 108 damage per swing roughly, pre-armor reduction
Broken Tooth - 54 damage per swing roughly, pre-armor reduction.

With BM Unleashed Fury

Raptors - 130 damage per swing
Broken Tooth - 65 damage per swing

With Beastial Wrath

Raptors - 195
BT - 97.5

These calculations are all done pre-armor and at level 60. Note that all of the pets are considered the top tier DPS pets, and pets like bats, bears, boars, birds, hyenas, scorpions, etc, will all have different (in all cases weaker) attack values.

Pet damage is indeed overtuned.

They are not supposed to lose target if a player Stealthes, it has been proven. And I have no issue with my Vanish against pets.

Okay.

another person who do not play hunter but wants to speak about it. its not "hunters pets", im using cat which hits roughly for 40 npc same lvl. never used raptor on this realm but will try. do not forget, that pet have 125% dmg, so:
25% bonus for feeding
10% bonus for cats and raptors
20% bonus for uf

so if u count, count properly
