Dungeon finder, destroyer of worlds.

I don't see why anyone would want a dungeon finder. Like many have pointed out already, it brings nothing but anger and arrogance to the game. MMOs used to be so social and group-friendly, but as soon as dungeon finders are added they become the complete opposite. People rage-quit non-stop, yell at eachother and ninja-loot.

One of the (many) joys I had playing vanilla back in the day was making a group, meeting up and delving into a dungeon, while having a great time. All done via communication between players. When you take away the communication you take away the soul of the game. But that's just my opinion.

We're playing on a very populated PVP server. A dungeon finder is likely the least reason for people to become anti-social or rage-quit.

Problem is you just cannot find a dungeon Group as eg. Rogue or Hunter. Postin three hours LFG LFM without success is not what I like most from the vanilla experience. I have no Problem with lfg having a certain percentage of success, but typing itself is no fun for me.

Dungeon finder and raid finder were tools designed for ninjas and people with no social skills. Guilds are more than just social clubs children. Don't be an obnoxious abrasive little shit and you will find friends to play with. Continue treading the latter path and find yourself socially ostracized. The nost community doesn't owe you shit.

oh please... don't add the dungeon finder... i began playing vanilla/tbc for more reasons, one of them being that you have to walk to the instance and summ ppl, than clear the trash before instance... not for instant teleport and than passing a summoning stone like "wow that looks awesome! i wonder what is it ?!" -_-

I am not keen on the idea of a dungeon finder either. However, the logic here suggests that we need to change the queue system for BGs. Spam in trade or LFG channel for a WSG or AB. It is the social way of doing things. It brings so much to the game. The other way is just lazy and full of ninja looters and anti-socials. Sorry but these arguments are pretty bad when a system like this is already accepted in the game.

The problems with what we saw in dungeon finder exists here as well. The difference is that we are all on the same server. You can build a system of consequences here. A person ninja loots, then take down their name and don't group with them again. If an entire guild does that, then just don't reply to that guild. Here you have the power of consequences. On an dungeon finder in a Battle group of several servers it isn't possible.

I can see this as a good utility for those who are struggling to get something done. The high pop would suggest this shouldn't happen, but I've seen LFG spam for groups that don't seem to happen. How would a dungeon finder change that? Maybe it wouldn't, and maybe it would. I don't think it fits in the vanilla environment tbh. However, this server is far from blizzlike. It is supposed to be a 1.4 server right? 1.3 was Dire Maul's release. So, I think exceptions can be made if it is useful. But I'd rather have a proper discussion that applies to this unique experience, rather than fluff based nonsense that applies only to personal preference rather than a useful utility.
