World chat

I would rather that they made it impossible to create your own chats. A world chat ect.
Maybe thats because we didnt use one when I played vanilla in retail, and it wouldnt be blizzlike to me..
But I like the more "realistic" way of having to fly to a capital city to chat with the cities and so on.

In general I don't like the whole "making it easier" in any way.
Removing the downsides of anything, really makes the upsides less rewarding.

And that is what blizzard have been doing ever since wotlk imo, and the game has just become more and more boring and less rewarding... to me.

We can make our own, and the owner can even ban/kick people in it if he feels like it. I'm not sure if players can be promoted to moderate it, but whatever.

I just hope that Nostalrius doesn't have that bug on other servers where chat channels randomly disappear, because that would make this troublesome.

At some point in retail vanilla we used LFG chat as world chat : )

I'd normally say if you don't want things to be easier, don't use any keybinds or strafe, but for some reason I feel like you already don't.

wolrd chat is just a chat channel if you dont like it then just leave and nothing changes

but dont matter cuz anyone can create channels and make world on wow

Know what, there shouldn't be any chat boxes at all. And everything said should all be in /say
And ya know what? Who needs a quest journal? I wouldn't write every word the giver said for later. It should all be based on memory. If I forgot what I was supposed to do, that's on me.
And I should get hungry and thirsty while questing. Maybe even tired. Make me have to rest at an inn every so often and get plenty of food and water. And Paladins and priests should have to attend a sermon every few days to appease the Light and keep their abilities.
