Personally I think increasing the spawn rates makes sense, where there's a community of chinese goldfarmers that legit make a lot of money by just having a team of 5 or 6 people farm all of the various spawn points.... things have gone too far lol. I've seen horde and alliance working together literally so that one person can get the herb which just goes to show there is a wacky level of detail that could potentially be game breaking.

Personally I think making the respawn time more unpredictable, and in a range of 30 to 45 minutes would be a great start, as well as more closely monitoring who is farming the black lotus, just to verify they aren't doing any exploits.

Increasing rates will simply increase incentive to farm more

Need a proactive solution, some thing like more spawn points, random timer, no max number of spawns.

Then make plaguebloom drop from lashers in DM east :ninja

I've been saying that ever since recognized the problem.

Again, increasing rates isn't solution. You need MORE MATERIALS to spawn in order to solve the problem.

I gotta say, the amount of herbs is bloody ridiculous, to the point where noone can even lvl their proff up and the other proffs like ALchemy become pointless, cos u don't have mats to produce anything. Why are the respawn rates etc retail like, when the population is 3 times that of a retail classic realm... that's insane. This should be fixed immediately.

If your way of farming gold is shit, then maybe try something else instead of demanding changes to server.

Your level of stupidity is nothing short of flabbergasting. Herbs presently spawn less than normal on a server with a 2500 player cap. We have more than triple that. Herb spawns going up by 5-6 times would only even things out, and even then, it wouldn't be enough because a much higher percentage of Nost's population raids than that of an average Vanilla server.

Even once I get a setup of having two alts (yes, 3 60s total) to alternate DM:E runs, with the way herb prices are going, I won't be able to sustain myself too well for only 8 hours of progression raiding a week.

I did 20+ hour raid weeks for years on much harder content than Vanilla. I don't have the time or willingness to raid hardcore anymore, so 8-12 hours a week is more in tune with how I want to play these days.

All I am saying is that this "scaling" could go on forever, and I really dont see the point in this argument, based on the way they want to run this server.

I can see your logic, but I dont think its appropiate to base changes on here.
