i don't think you understand the appeal of a pvp server, i don't either mostly because i think what you said makes sense, but i don't understand pvp so i'm sure some sensible pvp enthusiast could explain the appeal better, sorry for the half assed reply. i briefly looked up why people like pvp servers so maybe you could find something convincing.

Last time i tested corecraft a few days ago i messed about with the vanilla content and found that bugs that are on this server aren't present on their test server, its important to keep in mind that the vanilla content is always at the bottom of their to do list aswell. hopefully that will put into perspective how great its going to be when it releases even though it will probably be ages, then again it would also be ages before they release a nostalrius burning crusade server. but if the developers here took my idea to heart and put those resourses into a pve server for vanilla wow instead, then they'd be saving the effort of tuning a bc server from scratch, (only for it to be empty because of corecraft) and tapping into an audience that hasn't been tapped into properly yet.
