I agree. Create a server with the same progression as this one, then move them all onto it.

It's gonna happen one day like it or not, you have NO choice, 12k players in same server is just unplayable.
Yes it will have consequences but at least we'll be able to PLAY.

Another way would be to hack ManGoS and divide map into different servers, but I don't know if the developers are skilled enough to do that.

So the only choice is new PVP server

Admins refuse to admit the population size is a gigantic lag-inducing problem, insult the userbase by implying that we are are "racist" for wanting another server, and suggest we "share our experiences" with the Chinese players who we cannot talk to.

But English is the official language of the server, just so you know. More than half of the server is now not speaking it, but it's "official." What a great post.

You talk like they owe you something =P. They owe you what they want to give you which is a vanilla wow server with a huge playerbase and as they stated they wont prioritise your desires over the ones of the chinese, I suggest you get over it .

The population issue might be a problem for you and me, that doesnt mean its a problem for the devs.

Tell me one thing: What is the point of accumulating a massive population if it has a negative impact on the gameplay experience? They could easily direct people to other Vanilla servers if they truly had the players' best interests in mind, but it seems like they're more concerned about themselves (in my opinion).

I think you're being an idiot. Why would you create and manage a private server and then direct people to other private servers. You would be overjoyed that your project was so popular. It's their server, it's their project, it's their decision. If you feel so strongly that they should be pushing people to other servers, then why don't you start the process.

Why would you create and manage a private server and then allow it to become so overpopulated that no one can enjoy it?

Population limits itself, if you quit because ts too laggy but others still play here because they still like it then they provide the experience for as many ppl as possible. At some point you reach the lag from which on more ppl quit than join and that will be the peak where it will stagnate.

Im sorry if you think that they should cut down so you are happier but less ppl can play here who would be happy even with the lag.
