Did you play back then? On Ravencrest PVP EU the prices was way higher, around 25-30g per arcanite bar for example. Cant remember BL, but im quite sure it was not 13g :)

What actually affects everyone are the AH prices, they need to adjust the timers in order to get blizzlike AH prices.

I cant really remember the prices from retail vanilla, but they where far from the prices we are looking at now. Nowadays the BL price is approx 80-90g each (horde side). With current prices those that are rich (those that spend all their time on AH) will become even more rich and people that actually focus on the game (PvE and PvP) will eventually quit the game.

Still the economy is not the same, much more inflation here because people are farming diremaul and maraudon solo.

And fyi, people soloed these instances back in vanilla retail aswell.

The main reason we dont have the same economy is because we are 3 times more people on this server compared to retail servers, fighting for the same amount of resources we had back in retail.

Do you?

This way of farming instance mean that the gold supply on the server increase drastically, and with 3x playerbase this inflation is even higher, as the server is not limiting this kind of farming, only the 5 instance per hour rule is. For example if 5 instance cap was removed, we would expect hyperinflation in the gold supply.
