I'm not sure what you are trying to say here. If you are arguing saying that Blizzard did not allow in game gold for in game services, you are wrong and just proved yourself wrong by quoting that. If you are trying to say they indeed didn't have anything against it, you are right.

So people will stop advertising and buyers will just start making direct inquiries to the GM of the guilds who are in a position to sell raid loot, unless GMs find chatlogs you can just claim the buyer was a trialist who failed etc. Sounds like a lot of extra work for a staff who got better things to worry about imo.

It'll be a lot harder to do + an additional risk most ppl wont be willing to take = the total volume will be reduced greatly with no extra work for gms required.

Do you have some proof that Blizzard are against it?.

Why else would Blizzard make some items BoP if they were okay with those items being traded?

I figured they were saying that it's not allowed to trade WoW items for items in some other game(TF2 hats, EQ gold, whatever).
