I wouldn't mind a LFG tool, like TBC had. I laugh when people say Dungeon Finder ruined WoW. Dungeon Finder didn't ruin WoW, the asshats who play(ed) WoW did. People wanted something to blame, and just picked something.

But Dungeon Finder made it very easy to be an asshat and facilitated such behavior. Especially once it went cross-realm, because you could easily escape any bad repercussions.

Before it came along, you usually made friends with the people you instanced with or added a name to your ignore list. Many people were social during the run as you formed the group and so on. Afterwards, such things just vanished. No time to talk, gotta kill boss super fast, fuck this shit I'm out, the tool will group me up in five minutes anyway.

As for the damage dealers who can't find groups, it can be difficult, even as a healer I don't always find a group quickly (or at all!) but, as others posted, using the /who helps. Instead of just spamming Trade, I wish more people would take advantage of the LookingForGroup channel.
