And if we are at this point, we should have some kind of teleporting tool which brings us to the instances. Or wait! What if we would have a match making system, which forms groups to instances automatically? I mean who wants to talk with people to form a group? Or have some small chat while travelling to the dungeon? Have the feeling that he/she is in a big ass world with actual distances between places? It's not like we want to play with an MMO, right?

But wait! (Wow, this topic inspired me so much!) We all know how much pain it is to be a part of a raiding guild, right? Attending raid hours, establish a good relationship with the team. So why don't we have a system, which forms raids for us? Like the system for dungeons? But wait! An actual raid is hard, isn't it? Getting consumables, gear, knowledge about the fight. So they should lower the difficulty of these raids for at least these kind of raid groups.

But wait! If all we want is raiding, why don't they make this an instant 60 server? I mean, who are we trying to fool here? No one is here to have a solid 1-60 experience in an actually working enviorment.

But wait! (Oh, my god, my mind is on steroids!) What do we raid for? Teamplay? Challenge? Nah. We raid for the loot! For purple stuff! So why don't we give it to everybody? So we don't have to waste our time with gearing, travelling, questing, learning, practicing etc. You know, with gameplay which comes with an MMO.

So, my additions to the topic:
- Let the server be instant 60.
- Let those instant 60 characters have end game BIS items.

So we can end the game even before it even starts, so we can go play with kittens, swim in a pool, or just simply go outside.

Do you not understand that the only reason for the suggestion is due to possible population issues? If you ever joined a low population server on retail, low level bgs only ever happened so twink guilds could fight each other. 30-39 and 40-49 BGs practically never happened because people who made twinks couldn't be bothered to level them that high, and even if they did they'd have no one to play with.

I started on a low population server and restarted on a larger one because I wanted to be able to take it slow and do BGs as I leveled, rather than rush to max level so I could unlock the right to finally have fun.

The fact of the matter is that if the population here ends up being small enough that it fits into what would have been considered a small server back in Vanilla retail, then (with the exception of the early rush) there will be essentially zero low level BGs without some built in way of encouraging it. If turns out that the population is that small, I pray that the devs have the vision to see that letting players have the ability to do low level BGs is more "blizzlike" than your narrow, superficial idea of it is.

I hate the path that WoW has taken since WotLK too, I wouldn't be here if I didn't, but that doesn't mean that I am automatically resistant to all change that smells a bit like it without any thought.

I am pretty sure that if this server wants to be a success somehow and "steal" liquidity (AKA active) players from other Vanillas, it will be a mix of superior tech and possibility to play.

We all know that istances will be harder, time will be needed to farm them etc, and autoqueue for istances it's so ridicolous that I wont' lose time talking about it. But excluding PvP IMHO removes a huge part of the experience. And it's so funny, also to level before getting to 60 btw. Without this opportunity, lower level BGs (and even 60 lvl) won't be played at all barrying an insane amount of players available. "De facto", PvP is exlcuded till lvl 60 this way.

The proposal was very good, in my humble opinion. I am sorry it won't be accepted by now, but I hope it can be reconsidered after launch. It won't negate the Vanilla style, just making possible to do other stuff

@Ryanp
I totally understand the issue, but I think you miss one major aspect of vanilla:

If you want stuff to happen: make it happen.

People do low lvl instances even if it breaks the lvling process. Why couldn't they form groups for BGs aswell? I mean there are people pugging Naxxramas on Feenix. Naxxramas, man! Why would it be hard to organise people on trade chat, world chat and on the forums for some low lvl BG massacre?

Belive me: I used my AB boots which I got around 30-40 up till lvl 55-60 as I recall, and it would be a shame to miss those cool items. But we should not always wait for the devs to serve us. Sometimes the community have to toss in a few "cents" to see changes and awsome stuff happen.

What I'm saying is that isn't how I remember Vanilla where BGs is concerned, they took a tiny amount of effort because all you had to do was go queue up when the mood struck you and you could play more than half the time. Also, getting 5 people together for a instance group while leveling is nothing compared to getting 10-15 people together for a battleground and praying that just as many of the other faction is doing the same thing at the same time for some reason. And effort aside the main point is that it simply will not happen nearly as often as I remember it happened back when I used to play. (assuming the population here will be low)

Going to the Battle Master only takes 5-10 minutes normally so it's not very much time for people who are willing to take the time to level at 1x speed anyway, it's just that many people aren't willing to put in that small amount of effort because they know it'll probably be for no reason in the end. And even more people aren't willing to be teleported back to a main city in the middle of questing because they know the queue could take hours rather than minutes, especially when all that happens in the battleground is that they get massacred by some twinks.

To me this is a no brainer, putting in a shortcut here is nothing if it means that the low level BGs can actually happen with Blizzlike frequency.

The Battle Masters themselves were an immersion breaking shortcut when they were put in anyways, but most people understood that they were put in so people actually got a chance to do the battlegrounds.

I'm only planing on leveling one character and leveling up with everyone else at the start anyway, so all I'm trying to do is help out people who join later, or level alts, or level slower. For most of the people who really enjoy pvp it's the difference between being able to enjoy leveling or not, so it's important. I just really hope that reason prevails here.
