queue'ing as a premade is now fucked tho,
you wait so so long for a game atm.
this is bullshit rlly,
i can understand the system trying to setup a premade vs premade but having to wait +20 mins per game is bullshit rlly.

Scenario: One strong premade on alliance queues AB.

I don't know how often their queue pops vs horde PuGs, but it seems to be pretty often.

Assume a stronger horde premade comes around and eventually starts farming them.

Alliance premade stops queueing.

Horde premade now sitting 30min+ queues, forced to disband.

An hour later alliance premade goes back to business.

How is this not a problem?

The amount of crybabys who support the new changes on this server is hilarious. Just get over with the fact, that if you want to archieve a high rank you fucking have to socialise with other players of your faction. This is an MMO not todays World of shitplace. If you want to win go make a group yourself, what happens is youll have chances against premades and you will most likely win most pug games. It is all just about dedication.
Noone said you should be able to archieve r10+ if you que casually and SOLO. If you want to pvp solo go play retail or get over with beeing farmed by prem. and probably lose agains pugs.

It is so easy.

inb4 hate from casuals. BTW im casual myself and i only want to go for r10 max , maybe 11 for mounts, which will be probably not a big deal with this new system. But why implement a not blizzlike feature on a so called blizzlike server, destroying the game how it was ? Just because those filthy casual "hypetrain" players who play vanilla because they heard of this server after leaving retail dont understand that you have to socialise to archieve goals in classic wow?

Unbelievable rly.

From what I can understand from this entire issue is that old school players want the original system where they would premade-STOMP on 70% of games becasue they were pitted against a ragtag band of bum bandits who had a small chance of winning against an organized team..

Vs

The NEW players who want what blizz is currently doing by putting organized players vs organized players resulting in more competative gameplay BUT longer queues.

I have to side with the majority here since I personally having been in many stompy-premades dont take any fun in graveyard farming non premades and afking games when were faced against an actual premade for faster honor. That system is pants and absolutly needs to be changed. Just becasue thats the way it was in the old days does not meant its a god damn good idea <_<.

Now the real question is, is it still possible to get to the top rank with this algorithm? Thats something I cannot answer

for the ppl that played premades cause they then get active players and are now "forced" to not premade cause they want farm honor but not having to wait 30mins per game it rlly fucked.
you soloqueue get thrown into puggames with ppl that afk if they cant get BS or lost third base.

just came out of a game where we had equal score with horde tho only 2 bases atm and 7 ppl afk'ing on ST.
1 horde ninjacaps ST and kills all 7 alliance players.
this is just stupid and then you get ppl complaining they afk when they meet premade.
wel these ppl also afk when they meet puggs.

0 dedication and then they cry on forums.
worst fix and srsly unblizzlike my opion

you can't. which is the whole point of this thread. on retail RBG give higher rewards than afk'ing in casual BGs so the Q times don't really matter. in vanilla it's all about time efficiency. no use complaining about it, because that's just how it is. so atm harder games are less efficient than roflstomp farms. ppl don't care about beating equal opponents, they care about their honor and their rank. there is plenty of time to q as groups and play against equal premades for fun when you have your rank. before that it's a waste of time.

Sounds like PvP isn't for them.
It also sounds like on retail vanilla premades didn't take up as high % of BG's as it does on nost. That makes it a nostalrius exclusive issue, which they seemingly dealt with judging by the amount of crying PvE'ers that cant farm BGs brainlessly anymore. The funny thing is that no one will miss them if they leave, that part of the community is the most toxic shit ever.

The thing is, it is the honor system in vanilla which dictates that pvping for ranks is a grind, and people who want to be good at it have to play efficient. Unless nost is changing how the pvp system honor and rankwise works, the hardcore players will always find a way to play as efficient as they can. Those ninja changes wont change anything balancewise for casual pvpers, people have to face it.

I'm still leveling but hearing about the issues that were present in 60 PvP made me question whether I even want to continue. The changes to the queuing system are wonderful news that once again reassured my confidence in Nostalrius' development team. Thank you very much, I hope you stick with your decision.
