I was about to make a post about how shitty pvp was last night and then I found this. Didn't realize there were rules to protect pugs. I totally qued into 6 premades in a row last night and logged. Made me want to quit. Whole reason I play is for PVP and I can't even get into a fair session. I'm 100% for making premades fight premades. Honestly I think rank 14 is too hard to reach anyways.

Yea skill doesn't really go into reaching rank 14. It's almost pure who has the ability to grind the most hours. I have a job and a wife. Therefore. No rank 14 for me pretty much ever.

It's pretty obvious that a group of people who are organized shouldn't be able to farm a group of unorganized people repeatedly. The fact that you know it to be true is the funny part.

All i see is backpaddeling r11+ paladins in bg's which prooves your point, im 100% with that.

All i said is that this system is how it was, unfortunately people want to get ranks for gear and not for "fair pvp".
If you want fair pvp go play retail or duel or whatever. BGs are ranking area, im getting farmed too by premades, and even after that change it happens since they can just que at the same time and got 75% to 100% of their guys in the bg anyway, so that change didnt help at all to make it more "fair".

Ofc. i now it to be true, but making changes, trying to even it out for players who dont like the grind is not blizzlike behavior for me. That is atleast how i have in mind this server was advertised. I myself havent experienced any change in pvp to be honest. Now Pugs have grps of premaders, some more some less, mostly they are a full prem. This actually makes pugs even harder since the guys are split, making pug vs pug games --> pug vs semi-pug.

This discussion is worthless since the devs wont answer anyway on that issue, they just ghostfix/break stuff hoping to get more players/attention and when they reach the most, they will get a profit server, like every p-server with a big audience. Its just a matter of time

Yea I don't really expect them to change how ranking works, but I do think it's worth while to try their best to separate premades from non premades.

Those that whine that it's significantly harder to get ranks, do you understand that it's similiarly more "difficult" for everyone? Everyone will have to do equally "more" effort to win, thus what's required to get rank 14 goes lower and it's really same effort compared to others that you will have to do, except now you actually have to fight your enemies.
