Is it a fact that the devs say "We think most private server players want PvP"? Yes.

LOL! Are you sure you know how to translate English? You haven't called me out on anything, "well-known" means its common knowledge, just because you're not aware of it doesn't make it untrue. Are you trying to differentiate the word "sources" from "well-known information"? Well-known information comes from a source, so if I'm citing the information I am citing the source, you're not making any sense, sorry.

But I'm basing this off raw numbers not someones opinion. I'm not telling you whats better just what is more popular.

I would politely ask you to show me these raw numbers. Without a source to back up our claims, they are meaningless, as I'm sure you know.

There's no point in polls and such - this is a private server and of course the admins have the right to configure and run it however they wish. They've done an outstanding job - this is the most stable, best-scripted vanilla server I've ever experienced.

But my search for a PVE vanilla server of this same quality goes on. I'm not interested in involuntary PVP, which I believe appeals primarily to players who get their enjoyment by annoying others - this demographic consists mostly of small boys and social misfits. These are people who simply wouldn't get the same satisfaction by engaging in combat with like-minded players who chose to run around flagged - their enjoyment comes from disrupting the game-play of people who don't want to engage in PVP. It's also a fact that these types mostly look for players multiple levels below them to attack.

I just wish Blizzard had the sense to realize that there's still a market for their original product, and would open at least one PVE and one PVP vanilla server. I'd gladly pay $15/month for that.

May Nost PVP never die. Like its already been said, don't like it? Go to the many pve ps's out there, however imperfect. Low pop? Oh well. It'll be w/o the 90%+ base of people thatre there for the MVP PVP you dislike so much, anyway.

Or you know. Man up, and l2p, expand your competitive experience.

There is a simple solution for this tbh, allow people to flag/unflag themselves for pvp in open world and everyone would be happy.

I am asking for a choice and it's something that has been seen on other servers already. Actually, i am not asking, i am offering solution for this problem since i really don't give a flying fudge about lvl 60 mad virgins that are ganking in low lvl areas.

Kinda fun to see angry pvpers to say l2p or quit the game when they are low lvl gankers. my question is whats the pro when its 5 v 1 even if the players are low lvls or newly dinged 60 with geen gear and pve spec against better geared pvper... this made my day!
