Recently I was reading post about how peoples accounts are being hacked and their characters deleted. There was discussion about having these character restored even though Nostalrius does not do that. However, thats another topic. I would like to suggest improved account security. As it stands, all you need is an account name and a password. Enter that in and you have access to all of someone's hard work and dedication, free to do what you will to it. When I played retail WoW I really liked the authenticator system they put in place. I was hacked once, bought the authenticator, and havn't been hacked since. Since Nostalrius has talked about other expansions I assume they will be sticking around for a while so this may be something to look into. However, if this is to expensive to implement or not feasible how about a secondary password. The way that would work is if upon logging in a foreign IP address is detected a secondary password is required. You may even charge people for this type of security perhaps (I'm not sure if that counts as profiting allowing for legal action). Just my 2 cents.
