Instead of having this miss chance be 90%+, it would be better to tune it so that the miss chance is capped like it is vs. a raid boss. That way, a player of much higher level who attacks you still has an enormous advantage, but at least now you have a shot at outplaying him.
So to be clear, what I'm suggesting is:
- Miss chance against enemy targets of similar level stays the same.
- When there is a large level difference between two players, cap the miss chance for spells and physical effects at 17% so that the high level player is effectively a raid boss.
This is a change that would go a long way towards making world PvP more challenging & enjoyable.
