One possible answer to tune things down would be to disable HK honor in wPvP for A LIMITED TIME, not forever, let's say for 1 month, so the ratio level 60 H/A would equilibrate for the health of the server in the long run. I know, this is not "Blizzlike" but 6k player online IS NOT "Blizzlike" and the ganging fest is magnified and is a nuisance to a huge chunk of the player base.

Most horde player will not agree with this suggestion because they will not get free honor for farming low level and it would delay their ranking race. Here, we have to consider the health of the server in the long run, and stop alliance player to quit or reroll horde, which would only make things even worst than it is now.

I'm not high enough level yet, so hence the question. How much honor does a level 52 kill yield for a level 60? If my memory serves me retail awarded very low HP for a lowbie kill, around 2 or so, but I might be wrong ...

I think its around 180. That's why there is such a farming of low level players...

An interesting suggestion -- never gonna happen (nor should it).

The release of AV would greatly help mitigate this issue..
