Most Useless Bugtracker i have ever seen

Thanks to the people who put effort in reporting bugs but -shockingly - it doesn't matter as there are no guilelines on how to report bugs.

As of today 02/05/15 patch lowered questitems for winterspring epic mount from 90% to 30% Because of a bugreport without valid proof. Now this may seem just like a tiny mistake but will lengthen the grind for Weeks if not MONTHS. This is just an example of how terrible the system works.

One random tester claims https://report.nostalrius.org/plugins/tracker/?aid=335 with two "sources" being http://www.wowhead.com/item=12623/chillwind-meat
http://db.wowascension.com/?item=12623

those sources are not correct as even stated in the first comment (http://www.wowhead.com/item=12623/chill ... t#comments) and the devs dont even investigate such cases and jst put nuimbers in their database. thats how bad nostalrius operates.

This was just my first experience with bugtracker and i bet there are many many thousaand more claims without valid proof.
Congratulations nostalrius you just shot yourself in the back

And where exactly is YOUR source that this is NOT correct? A comment on the wowhead link that was posted in CATACYLSM?... Honestly, I feel like you're just taking the piss here... Oh and here's a comment from TBC (which is closer to vanilla than Cata) that says approx. 30%. Image

Oh and this also btw: Image

Are you claiming that if they were to look at that comment and not edit it, they would've done "research" about this? Please do provide a legit source that it does infact have a higher droprate. Thanks.

Congrats mynamewastaken, you have proved you don't know what you're talking about and on top of that you're putting down the Nostalrius developers for doing something correctly.

you smartass

http://www.wowwiki.com/Quest:Frostsaber ... &section=6
"As of Patch 2.3 Reputation has been increased to 250 points with Wintersaber Trainers. This quest is repeatable. You need to run this quest 6 times to get the next quest in the line. Quest items may only drop when a quest is active and disappear when you abandon the quest."

that's why they lowered the droprate in the first place in tbc, because they skyrocketed the +rep rewards.

fine - if a tbc value is "just-alright" for vanilla to file a report on nostralus , you can aswell go and "report "a lot of items - alot have been buffed in 2.3 : )

You're wrong, if you played vanilla you wouldn't be arguing this at all. Aside from the fact you seem to be purposely omitting the actual source used for this, and which is in that thread. Honestly, 20% seems too high to me from what I remember, I thought it was 10-15%, but the source says 10-20% and they took the higher number which will make it at least 33% faster than retail if I'm correct, but since I have no evidence I'm not gonna make a thread complaining about it.

That's not an actual source that says anything about drop rate though...
