Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

Hey!

So i was thinking about achivments and how it could be coll to have them in the game. i know you want to be as close to vanilla as possible BUT i think for some people achivs will be fun. For example it make me feel like im working for something. i know achivments have no use or anything like that i just think it would be cool to have. Thanks

As you already mentioned we want to follow blizzards timeline as much as possible. Therefore achievements won't be introduced very soon. I'm sorry

A good chunk of the Vanilla and BC player base don't like achievements. I know I had mixed feelings at the start and then turned to hate it before the end of wrath. The only other worse invention to wow than achievements and the entirety of 5.0 is gearscore and avg ilvl. Achievements, ilvl/gearscore does not tell you how good a player is, especially a project like this where we get players from all experiences trying to relive older content. There will be those few who will abuse the achievement system and require it for a simple ST pug or any other negligible dungeon.

I swear to god, i am no longer sure if these kind of topics are troll topics or just people being 100% clueless. This guy is actually asking for achievements to be introduced (!?) . Achievement system is , among many other things, one of the reasons retail wow became such shit.
