Herb spawns

Herb spawns in the high level zones seem awfully scarce since the nerf/increased portion of the population now at level 60 and farming. Even during oceanic peak times which are the times the server is least populated one might be lucky to find more than a few nodes after patrolling for a couple of hours.

It's not really fair considering a whole bunch of people hit high level before the spawn nerfs and were like a fat child in Willy Wonkers factory, stuffing themselves until they threw up and induced a seizure. I can attest to this as I was one of the lucky ones to gorge on the herbs before the nerfs/population boom.

How is this not fair? If you want the sh!t, you work for it - sounds like you benefited from this yourself.
You want Garrisons? Retail is this way =============>

I already explained why this isn't fair and yes I was one of the ones that benefited from this as I plainly stated, but reading comprehension doesn't seem to be your strong point. If you are defending the current state of herb spawns I can assume you are one of the people that has banks full of herbs from when the spawns were broken and you want to keep supply low so you can sell your herbs for inflated prices. The scarcity of herbs on this server considering the population/amount of raiding guilds is far from "blizzlike", whatever that may mean.

No, you actually didn't. You are just complaining.
Still not exactly sure how this situation is not "fair".

The way I see things: by increasing the herbs or decreasing the spawn time, the AH would get heavily destabilised. This would mean shitloads of undercuts and basically turning the economy into a WoD-like economy. Which is sad.

So a considerable amount of players that had access to broken herb spawns which the majority of the server had no opportunity to contest for/unable to benefit from is fair? The staff here have claimed that they will adjust herb spawns to be give us a "blizzlike" experience, what are the key factors in determining what "blizzlike" herb farming is?

I'm not arguing for my own benefit, I have months worth of herbs stocked in my bank and en epic mount because I hit 60 fast enough to farm them before they "fixed the spawns". The problem is for fresh 60s wanting to get into raiding, herbs are extremely scarce in high level zones today and prices on the AH are already high. Most of the people selling herbs on the AH now are those that stocked up during the herb fest.

no-one would even put them on the AH, we don't have enough to make our own potions.

He likely doesn't want anyone running the herb prices down to a reasonable level because he has a bank full of Dreamfoil that he is selling to you for 15g/stack which was farmed before the nodes were nerfed to the ground.

What if I told you that I am level 28 and my professions are not related to herbs nor minerals? I am just a player who doesn't want to see the Nostalrius market turning into some crappy underpriced one. Just think about retail and the AH prices when a new expansion is going live. Everything is overpriced until some time passes. Prices will naturally get to normal on Nostalrius as well, there is no need for herb boosting.

Right so you have no experience at what it is like to farm herbs on Nostalrius yet you can come in here and make claims about the market and what its like to farm here? Okay then
