Answer to the many who want to change this and that

Why expect a game to make it easy on you? The game is there to stress you out at times, to challenge you! So you can conquer and feel like a conqueror. (I really don't understand what it is with this generation of gamers

Later WoW expansions are made to be soft and easy for everyone, and because of that have lost all challenge and imo all flavor. Exactly that is the reason why Nostalrius exists, imo.
So please leave us purists at least one place where we can relive the old-school challenging style of gaming. Better a bit unbalanced at times than perfectly casual! I.m.o. 1.12 does extremely well in regards of balance and smoothness, compared to other old-school mmorpgs it is very very smooth. I am glad to sacrifice some imperfections (like not having the professions that came later, which I regret somewhat, but hey, don't give me all the other shit that came with it)
With all respect, players who are not satisfied can easily go play one of the current hundreds easy going games that serve on silver plates. For the purists there is only Nostalrius (and EQ 1999), please now do not also take that away from us.
That's the positive site of being non-profit. Nostalrius can loose some players and still be a fine & pure server.
I hope the dev team thinks in the same way
