Race Change

Anyone else think that race changes should be implemented?

I know we are striving for the Vanilla feel, but it is a big turn off when you are leveling a toon and realize you wish you had chosen another race and then have to invest days and days of your life to just get back to the point you were at originally.

I played in retail vanilla and this was a big gripe even back then, no one complained when it was implemented in WoTLK and every thought it should have been implemented 4 years earlier.

Hope a Dev sees this and takes it into consideration.

Let me add a sub-suggestion here.

As Nostalrius is not a commercial organization you are not likely to accept money for race change like Blizzard do so if race change is to be implemented there should be some hard restrictions.
Some ideas on that matter:
1. Reeeally big cooldown, like 1 year.
2. Race change only once per character, never again. It can also be combined with (1) per account.

On private servers people usually make different chars on different accounts, unless restrictions are given (which is often a good thing).

You are right, I meant it as a minor addition to the once-per-character restriction, which would still work. People would know that once they change their race they can never go back.

Im up for this aslong as it doesnt include faction change. That would be a dealbreaker and increase fsction imbalance drastically, since a strong faction is like a magnet to hardcore players on the weak faction, hence, the situation would get worse.
